Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide service provider specializing in skilled trade services. As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for performing commercial plumbing repairs and service without the pressure of selling plumbing jobs. Technicians are provided with a company vehicle and gas card and have the flexibility to begin their service routes from home.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of recent experience in commercial plumbing service and repair. Work shifts are Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Provide informative customer service to clients with professional conduct
- Install, repair or replace commercial plumbing fixtures and water heaters
- Properly diagnose and repair issues with sanitary waste, vent, or potable water pipes
- Service grease traps, interceptors, sump pumps or lift stations
- Troubleshoot common commercial plumbing issues on pumps, fixtures, valves, and DWV
- Diagnose and unclog drains with cable machines, hydro jets, or camera lines
- Submit service paperwork with a summary of the work provided after each service appointment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner
- Drive and operate company vehicles within department guidelines
- Willingness to take on additional duties as needed to support the department
Requirements
- Four years of recent and relevant commercial plumbing experience
- Valid driver license with no more than two points or driving restrictions on the driving record
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Verbal and written English literacy for the use of cell phone and mobile email communication
