LICENSED JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER — SERVICE & REPAIRBenjamin Franklin Plumbing of MadisonMadison, WI • Full-Time • W-2 Employee————————————————————————A NOTE FROM THE OWNERI'm Anthony Richards. Before I tell you about the company, here's where I come from.My grandfather owned a construction company. My dad ran a building supply store. My uncle owned a roofing company. From about age twelve on, I worked for all three of them; sweeping floors, loading trucks, riding out to job sites, tearing shingles off roof jobs, and learning what work actually looks like when someone's paying for it. That's the world I grew up in.I left the trades for a while and built a career in tech —> Fortune 500, large non-profits, Google-Ventures backed startups, and more. The lessons from my family stuck: • show up on time • respect the customer's home • do the job right the first time • don't ever let your truck or your reputation get sloppyI chose Benjamin Franklin Plumbing because the brand's systems work: Straight Forward Pricing, ServiceTitan, the on-time guarantee, the training programs. I didn't want to spend three years figuring out things that 200+ other locations have already solved. I wanted to spend that time building a team I'd be proud to send into a customer's home.I'm not trying to be the biggest plumbing company in Madison. I'm trying to be the one techs want to work at and homeowners want to call back. I don't want you to wake up dreading to go to work. Let's have some fun.If that's you, let's talk.- Anthony Richards, Owner————————————————————————ABOUT THE ROLEBenjamin Franklin Plumbing - "The Punctual Plumber" - is launching in the Madison market and hiring several Wisconsin-licensed Journeyman Plumbers. You'll run service calls, drain work, water heaters, repairs, and installations out of a fully stocked take-home company van, backed by a 200+ location national brand's training, technology, and dispatch systems. This is a ground-floor opportunity. You'll be one of the first technicians on the team, with a real runway to lead tech, foreman, or master-track development as we scale to a multi-van operation across Madison, Middleton, Verona, Waunakee, and surrounding Dane County communities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO • Diagnose and repair residential plumbing: leaks, drains, water heaters, fixtures, sewer lines, gas lines, sump and ejector pumps. • Perform installations and replacements — water heaters (tank and tankless), repipes, fixture upgrades, water treatment. • Use Straight Forward Pricing on every call — present options and pricing before work begins, so the customer knows what they're getting and what it costs. • Wear floor savers, keep your work area neat, and leave the home as clean as you found it (or cleaner). • Test every aspect of the job before leaving — verify it's actually working — so we don't generate avoidable callbacks. • Explain each service performed so the customer understands what was done and why. Aim for 100% customer satisfaction on every job. • Pull permits and complete work to Wisconsin plumbing code (SPS 382/384) under the company's master plumber of record. • Keep your van — inside and out — clean and well-organized, and your ServiceTitan records accurate. • Drive safely. Represent the brand professionally — uniformed, on time, courteous, and respectful of customer property.

WHAT YOU BRING • Wisconsin DSPS Journeyman Plumber license, active and in good standing. (Required & verified through DSPS.) • Valid Wisconsin driver's license with an insurable driving record. • 3+ years of hands-on plumbing experience; residential service experience strongly preferred. • Comfort with technology — smartphone, tablet, dispatch software, digital invoicing. • A customer-first mindset. You can explain plumbing to a homeowner without making them feel small. • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in tight crawl spaces and attics, and pass a background check and drug screen.

WHAT YOU GET • Competitive pay with structure flexibility. Target range: $40–$54/hr base + performance pay (spiffs and bonuses on completed work), based on experience and license tenure. We're also open to hybrid hourly + commission, full commission, or salary structures — tell us what fits your career and your life, and we'll build the offer around it. • Fully stocked, company van. No more loading and unloading your own truck before and after every shift. • Health, dental, and vision insurance. Paid time off. Paid holidays. • Ongoing paid training: manufacturer certifications, Success Academy access, and a clear path toward your master plumber credential if that's your goal. • Uniforms provided. Specialty and power tools provided beyond your personal hand tools. • Stable, year-round work in a recession-resistant trade — under a national brand with local ownership. • No on-call rotation gimmicks —> clear schedule, fair rotation if/when after-hours coverage is added.
