Lead - Plumbing/Electrical

Are you the person friends and family call when they need help with a plumbing repair or electrical project? Do you enjoy helping customers solve problems and making sure a team runs smoothly? If so, we’d love to have you join our team.

The Lead – Plumbing / Electrical serves as the department expert and plays a key role in driving sales, supporting customers, and leading associates within the store. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on Plumbing or Electrical experience who enjoys customer interaction, mentoring others, and keeping operations running efficiently.

Retail experience is preferred, but if you have strong trade knowledge and a great attitude, we’re willing to train the right person.

What You’ll Do

• Help customers confidently complete Plumbing and/or Electrical projects
• Recommend products, troubleshoot issues, and provide project solutions
• Lead and support department associates to deliver excellent customer service
• Keep the department stocked, organized, clean, and easy to shop
• Maintain inventory accuracy through ordering, stocking, and cycle counts
• Build attractive displays and help drive department sales
• Train team members on products, selling skills, and safety practices
• Stay current on products, trends, and seasonal opportunities
• Assist with overall store operations and leadership responsibilities as needed
• Promote a safe, positive, and team-focused work environment

What We’re Looking For

• Plumbing or Electrical experience/knowledge required
• Retail experience preferred, but not required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Leadership mindset with the ability to motivate and support others
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, self-motivated, and solution-oriented
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders and stock overhead merchandise
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the workday
