HVAC / Plumbing Service Manager

Location: Twin Cities Metro

Type: full-time permanent employment

Pay: up to $120K salary + Bonuses!

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC / Plumbing Service Manager to oversee day-to-day service operations for our HVAC and plumbing divisions. This role is responsible for leading field technicians, coordinating service work, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable service delivery across commercial accounts in the Twin Cities metro.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations for HVAC and plumbing service departments
• Supervise, train, and support field technicians and service staff
• Oversee scheduling, dispatch, and workload prioritization
• Serve as a primary point of contact for service customers
• Review and approve service estimates, pricing, and work orders
• Monitor performance metrics such as response times, productivity, and profitability
• Resolve service issues, escalations, and warranty concerns
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, company standards, and local codes
• Conduct field visits, ride-alongs, and performance evaluations
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC and/or plumbing service
• 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems
• Proven leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to read service documentation and mechanical/plumbing drawings
• Proficiency with service management software and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC and/or Plumbing license
• Commercial service experience
